This product truly is what it says. It's advertised as being for the Apple iPhone, not as being by Apple and for the iPhone. Our thoughts mislead us. --Not to say that what we came to believe isn't what they intended us to think--I believe they advertised it as thus for precisely that reasoning, to entice, but I am saying that they didn't really lie to us.
I've experienced lower mike and speaker quality than with the true apple earbuds, but not by a truly drastic amount. I can still understand people on Skype calls, if not quite as well, and they can understand me. I can't speak for its durability, as short of a time as I've had it. As it is cheap, the markings have worn off about immediately, (such as those denotating the right and left earbuds) and I experienced slight discomfort from an excess plastic protrusion on the right earbud, left over from the plastic casting process. That, however, was easily enough removed with a knife. Control is easy and simple enough, the only differences being in the lack of the volume control buttons on the remote, as with the Apple headphones, but the button itself would actually appear as more durable to me, seeing as it does not cause it to be necessary to compress the button's plastic casing in order to press it, as is necessary with the actual Apple earbuds. Overall, I think (for me at least) that this was actually worth more for my money than purchasing a new pair of Apple earbuds would have been.

Came broken and then wire covering started coming off a week later, absolute junk definitely NOT Apple brand....get what you pay for
