not pleased and need to return July 28, 2010 S. Hicks (Texas, USA) No instructions included, finally found a manual on line and it explained that I need a separate cable for my mp3 player. I am not tech savy. I went and got one and plugged it in and it sounds like it is coming out of a tunnel and far away, wiggle the cable and the sound is fine, but it doesn't stay. When I do hold it, it sounds great and it is very simple to set up. Just frustrated.
Altec iPod docking stattion July 25, 2010 Steve Mehder Very good for normal use. Pure audiophiles may want better sound, but this works great for 90% of the users.
really nice July 21, 2010 Lorraine Gibbs (Seattle, WA United States) The sounds great, and even if you have it on top volume it remains the same great quality as a lower volume. Its really easy to us, I didnt need to us the instructions to figure it out. My negatives are that the adapter that said it was for the ipod nano 4th generation was not the correct adapter for that ipod. Also it doesnt seem to charge my ipod like it said it would. The most it seems to do is keep the charge the same. But I am very happy with the speakers even with the cons.
They rock..period. July 16, 2010 Jay V. Harper (Phoenix, AZ) I am surprisingly happy with the sound of these speakers. In a small room they do great and are amply loud. Yes a remote would be a nice feature but for $[...] bucks shipped at [...] what can you say? I am impressed with the design and will be perfect for travel. I love bass and they have more bass than I was expecting because of previous reviews. These speakers aren't top rated for no reason. Enjoy!
Good value that delivers as promised July 8, 2010 JRBOK The Altec Lansing im310 is a good machine. It is not going to sound like a high end stereo system, but for the money it puts out good sound, is easy to operate, and is worth buying. I read a lot of reviews before buying and all those who said good things about it were right on.
