I bought this item to replace my broken charger. It works very well. Great price compared to what I would have spent going directly through Apple to purchase a new charger.

terrible product! almost ruined my mac!!! i plugged it in and started to sync and charge my shuffle. a couple minutes later and noticed that the area around the charger including my mac and my shuffle was really hot!!! and it wasn't even charging or anything. i do not recommend this for anyone!

It works on my 13" MacBook Pro just fine; it doesn't use energy to the extent that I'll have to take it out in order to continue working on my laptop. However, when using it on my desktop computer, it does make my wireless mouse stop working. For the price, this product is great, although it can be easily misplaced.
