Amazon.com Product Description Griffin's Elan Form is an elegant hard-shell leather case, shaped to perfectly fit your iPod classic. The shell's form-fitting design bonds top-grain leather to durable, protective polycarbonate, to encase your iPod in two layers of protection. The top-grain leather outer shell is crafted from hand-matched hides, while the polycarbonate inner shell surrounds your iPod with armor. Put your iPod in the top casing, then snap the back into place. To open the case, insert a coin (a quarter works best) into the notch in the bottom corner and twist gently. All this protection still affords easy access to the click wheel or touchscreen, dock connector, headphone port, and hold switch. Elan Form is available in sizes to fit the third-generation iPod nano, iPod classic, and iPod touch. What's in the Box: Black Griffin Elan Form Hard-Shell Leather Case for iPod classic.

Excellent Cover September 10, 2010 Anthony Post (USA) This product is excellent. For awhile I've been looking for a shell that would protect my iPod and this is the one. It's a hard shell covering with two parts. The two parts fit together and they fit tightly. Sometimes it's difficult for me to take it off. The top and bottom are left open for headphone connection, usb connection and hold botton. I've seen worse looking shells for $30. For the price this product is fantastic.
Great form fitting case. Great quality. September 2, 2010 mikadobetacam After reading previous reviews about this case, I was optimistic with my purchase. The case arrived promptly and I was pleasantly surprised by its quality. The case is extremely form fitting (so much, in fact, that you'll have to take it off with a crowbar) and the leather feels and smells genuine. The included screen protector, which is molded to the case (I thought it was a separate application), does its job. If you are seeking a "classy" looking case for your iPod, the price and quality can't be beat.
Stylish Leather Case August 31, 2010 AuntieM I purchased this case as a Christmas gift for my husband in 2009. He says the case is perfect! He has been using it daily for almost one year & it still looks like new. He does not use a docking station so we can't comment on how it would fit. The opening on the bottom is convenient for the plug-in jack. The case does not add bulk but protects as expected. Amazons price just can't be beat!
Beautiful, with some minor drawbacks... August 13, 2010 Shane Allen Windham (Dallas, TX) The case feels, looks and even smells wonderful. It was a little difficult to attach it to the iPod. The real drawback to this beautiful thing is that it's almost impossible to get the case off without breaking it or ripping the lining. And some of the larger headphone jacks won't plug into the top of this. Small things, but otherwise a wonderful product.
pretty good case July 16, 2010 TheLoneWolf this is a pretty good case, i like the looks of it. it makes my ipod look better in my opinion. i have a black 7th gen 160gb classic. i like how it comes with two different backs to fit snug to different gen ipods. it is extremely hard to get off so i wouldn't recommend it to someone that needs to take it out of its case. i don't use a docking station so i cant comment on how it fits into them. i do use a audio cable to send the signal to my home theater receiver and i had to trim the case back a little around where the jack plugs into the ipod because the jack on the brand i got was kinda big and hit the case, preventing it from plugging into the headphone jack. the leather on the case did peel off in a corner when i was trying to remover the case to see if i could. i just took a very small dab of CA glue (superglue) and carefully glued it back in place and its been holding well sense.
