Product Description The best in quality and design headset to 3.5mm adapter with microphone and remote buttons built-in. Simply plug one end to your iPod or iPhone devices (any models / versions) and the other end is the universal 3.5mm female adapter so that you can use any of your favorite dual headphones with a male 3.5mm plug and you will have a hands-free + stereo headset which you can use to make or receive phone calls and also listen to music from your devices stereo.
Convenient built-in microphone and remote buttons so you can pause / stop or play music and phone calls. Also built in is the remote volume control. Music auto mute when incoming calls.
For iPod Touch users : this 3.5mm adapter is not like other adapters that will not work with the microphone, this adapter built in microphone will work great with the iPod touch any series versions so you can make phone calls.
Compatible : Apple iPod Touch or iTouch 1 or 2 or 3 or any versions / models. And also work with the iPhone 2G 3G 3gS any capacity, colors, versions.

Great for voice memo's, but will NOT work for Internet phone... July 25, 2010 B. Laue (Minnesota, USA) Works quite nicely for making audio messages on my iPod Touch, but when I tried to use it with the Internet phone application, I initially missed the small print warning that in order to make Internet phone calls, you MUST have the Apple microphone hardware, as nothing else will work. Disappointing, but not terrible, as I will almost never make Internet phone calls -- I just wanted to try it to see how it worked. For voice memo's, though, this device works perfectly. It is inexpensive, it does the job. No complaints from me, just a caveat for anyone wanting to make Internet calls. Cheers!
it works July 15, 2010 K.S. Grogg I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something to use with my ipod touch and nice headphones. It works, I get a clear enough sounds for voice memos and skype.
Works as advertised. July 8, 2010 Stephen Gibbs I was wanting something closer to the thumbtack style, but was hesitant due to the ratings I saw at the time. I recommend this if you don't mind the wire.

Useful for iPod Touch June 13, 2010 Joseph Rayle (Cortland, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for the auxiliary input on my car stereo for use with my iPod touch. It allows me to quickly turn off what I'm listening to when necessary. The volume control is a slider, which means it does not adjust the volume of the iPod itself. It can be a little fiddly to use, but I'm pleased with it.
