I am not sure why there are good reviews for this product, although the one i used was held together by a small piece of plastic, which snapped on my second run. The plastic piece which holds the armband together is about 1mm thick and really is not very strong, not sure why it was made this way...

I believe the fit is too tight if using this with an Iphone 4 with the Apple bumper. It works, but it's a bit of a struggle.
Maybe this is an unfair criticism, given it is advertised for the older Iphones, but with the lack of options for Iphone 4 cases and the similarity in size between the 3G and 4, I thought I'd mention it.
Otherwise, the quality, design and construction of this product is very good.

Good sports armband (the only one I've ever tried. I have an iphone 3gs). It has a thin profile and is made from presumably environmentally friendly materials and packaging. You can put it into the case in either direction, which is nice because it allows you to glance down at the player to change music or see who's calling. Obviously, you have to take your normal case off before slipping it into this one. iphone controls were fine through the eco runner through the plastic sheet.
There are two lengths - my arm is pretty small so I had to use the smaller adjustment. It was a little weird in that the small adjustment almost seemed too small/tight but I definitely couldn't find a size that worked in the larger 'setting.' It's just basically an extra loop that allows you to slip the band through closer.
Overall good product - I recommend.
