1 out of 5 stars It just doesn't work   July 29, 2010

I bought this for by iPod touch. When I try to record, I get a message that I don't have a microphone.

4 out of 5 stars Good item. Nice addition of mic for iPod Touch   July 29, 2010
Alvin Chao (Virginia)
Good item for iPod Touch. Could be better if it didn't cause a little feedback since it's too close to the speaker for certain applications.

4 out of 5 stars Nice and Compact   July 18, 2010

Fits nicely into the audio jack on the itouch. Reminder though, you will lose the sounds that would have come through your speakers when you plug this in. You have to choose between hearing the sounds through the built-in speakers or plugging this in and being able to record audio. Other than that it's a great product. My wife records notes for herself with it.

5 out of 5 stars It's good   July 12, 2010

It's good sound quality whenever you speak into them. however the only problem is that you can't hear through it. You need to unplug them to hear anything. But great for memos and some apps. If you want to beable to hear yourself and also have good quality sound. then you should buy Iphone headphone which allows you to hear yourself and also talk into it. But great for memos and some apps, that's why i recommend them!

3 out of 5 stars Does not work with iTouch cover   July 8, 2010
Mark W Sprague (Greenville, NC United States)
The microphone works well, but I have to remove the cover from my iTouch to get it to go into the jack all the way. This is a deal breaker for me because I do not want to remove the cover every time I need the mic. Also, you should be aware that an iTouch will turn off the external speaker when you insert this device because it detects headphones (even though there are none). Some apps like Skype allow the user to override this and turn the external speaker back on with the mic inserted into the jack. In apps that do not have this feature (like Voice Memos) you must remove the mic before listening to your recording (or anything else).
